The former owner of Spartak Andrey Chervichenko praised the appointment of Viktor Gancharenko to the post of head coach of Ural.
After defeats in the first four matches of the season, Igor Shalimov was fired from the post of head coach of Ural. On Monday, club president Grigory Ivanov announced the appointment of Gancharenko, saying that Ural had signed one of the country’s best specialists.
– There are two problems: a very emotional Ivanov and a very nervous Gancharenko. How they get along, I don’t know. The choice is normal, understandable, there is a sense. This is not something that sometimes a coach is chosen and it is not clear why it is him, what is the reason for this. I was very surprised when they started talking about the fact that Spartak Gogniev could lead the Yekaterinburg club, given how emotional Gogniev is. There was also talk about Yuran, he seems to know how to work, but he is a complex person, – Chervichenko quotes “Championship”.
