Kvaratskhelia, who replaced Rubin with Serie A, made a productive debut in the new championship
Napoli’s Georgian midfielder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored two goals in his Serie A debut.
In the game of the first round of the Italian championship against Verona, the ex-player of Rubin entered the first team and scored in the first half, equalizing the score in the 37th minute – 1:1.
Then, with the score 2:2, already after the break, Kvaratskhelia scored an assist to Piotr Zelinsky, whose ball eventually turned out to be the winner. Napoli won 5-2 and Hvicha was substituted in the 68th minute.
Napoli top the table after the first round, ahead of other teams that won this week on goal difference.
