Sochi coach Garanin: “The departure of Cassierra and Rodrigo is a big loss, but we won’t cry”

Sochi head coach Vadim Garanin called the departure of Colombian forward Mateo Cassierra and Brazilian defender Rodrigo a big loss for the club.
Cassierra and Rodrigo moved to St. Petersburg Zenit in the offseason.
– If I say that the departure of Rodrigo and Cassierra did not affect Sochi, then everyone will say that I am crazy. Rodrigo is now one of the strongest defenders in the RPL. Cassierra is one of those strikers who are great at using their chances and scoring a lot. It is clear that the number of goals he scored last season is also the merit of the players nearby. Mateo’s departure is a big loss for Sochi. But we won’t cry and say that we won’t swim without them, ”Garanin told the Championship.
