Alexander Borodyuk resigned as head coach of Torpedo Moscow, according to Metaratings.ru.
According to the source, the players have already been informed about the departure of the 59-year-old specialist from the club, but the name of the new head coach remains unknown. Andrei Karyaka, who was part of Borodyuk’s coaching staff, and Nikolai Savichev, head of the Torpedo youth football development program, will temporarily work with the team.
According to Match TV, the main candidate for the position is Alexander Kerzhakov.
After five rounds of the WORLD of the Russian Premier League (RPL), Torpedo occupies the penultimate place in the table, gaining one point.
