Fiorentina did not include Kokorin in the application for the Conference League
Striker Alexander Kokorin was not included in Fiorentina’s application for the matches of the playoff round of the Conference League with Twente, informs the official website of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
The 31-year-old Russian was not included in the list of 25 players who will represent the Italian club in the fight for access to the group stage of the tournament. In total, Fiorentina have six players in the forward position: Luka Jovic, Artur Cabral, Jonathan Icone, Nicholas Gonzalez, Ricardo Sottil and Christian Cuame.
Kokorin joined the composition of Fiorentina in the winter of 2021. In total, during this time for the Italian club, he spent 216 minutes on the field and did not score with effective actions.
