The draw for the group stage of the Russian Football Cup took place

The draw for the group stage of the FONBET RPL Path of the Russian Cup was held, in which 16 MIR clubs of the Russian Premier League (RPL) take part.
Group A: Krasnodar, Lokomotiv, PARI NN, Khimki;
Group B: “Zenith”, “Wings of the Soviets”, “Spartak”, “Torch”;
Group C: Dynamo, Akhmat, Rostov, Orenburg;
Group D: Sochi, CSKA, Ural, Torpedo.
Teams will play in a round robin system: three matches at home and three away. The top two teams advance to the quarter-finals of the upper playoff bracket, the third teams to the quarter-finals of the lower playoff bracket, and the fourth-placed teams in the groups are eliminated from the tournament. In the upper bracket of the playoffs, a two-legged format of meetings is provided, and in the lower part of the team, the winner will be determined in one game. The winners of the finals of both brackets will meet in the Superfinal.
The first round of the group round of the RPL Path will be held from August 30 to September 1.
