Former Manchester United player Andrei Kanchelskis is shocked by the victories of Amkal and 2DROTS in the first round of the FONBET Cup of Russia over the teams of the Second League, he called such results a disaster for professional football.

Amkal beat Krasnogorsk Zorkiy (1:1, pen. 8:7), and 2DROTS defeated Chertanovo today (3:0).
