Coach Kovardaev will lead “Torpedo”

Nikolai Kovardaev will lead the Torpedo, the press service of the car factory reports.
Kovardaev has headed Torpedo-2 since February. Andrey Gordeev and goalkeeping coach Anatoly Rozhkov also joined the team’s coaching staff.
Earlier on Thursday, the Moscow club announced the termination of cooperation with head coach Alexander Borodyuk by agreement of the parties.
Under the leadership of Borodyuk, the car manufacturers won the FNL last season, and at the start of the 2022/23 season in the RPL, they scored one point in five rounds.
Torpedo in the next RPL match on August 21 will play away with Zenit.
