Sergei Ivanov said that CSKA had already passed from the control of VEB to another company

The honorary president of the VTB United League, Sergei Ivanov, after the match of the sixth round of the WORLD RPL between CSKA and Akhmat, said that the “red-blue” had already passed under the control of another company.

Earlier in July, Match TV reported that the Board of Directors of CSKA was abolished before the appearance of a new strategic partner for the football club. According to Match TV, CSKA shareholders planned to close a deal to transfer the shares of the football club to a new strategic partner. It is expected that the state corporation VEB.RF, which owns a 77% stake in CSKA, will transfer them to Trinfico, while club president Evgeny Giner will continue to deal with the red-blue sports block.
VEB.RF became the owner of a majority stake in CSKA in the spring of 2020, and in February 2022, the US Treasury Department announced that CSKA was on the country’s sanctions list as an asset of VEB Bank.
