Rooney warns Manchester United manager not to start Ronaldo against Liverpool

Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has expressed his opinion that the club should start the upcoming Premier League match against Liverpool without Cristiano Ronaldo in the starting lineup.

“If I were in Ten Haeg’s shoes, my main concern would be to get the energy I need on the field. They relied on Ronaldo against Brentford even though he didn’t train much with the team. He looked like he needed time to get back into shape. Ten Hagu needs energy, and this could mean the absence of Ronaldo at the start, – quotes the words of Rooney Times.

Manchester United vs Liverpool is scheduled for August 22.
