Former Minister of Sports of Russia, ex-president of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Vitaly Mutko praised the work of Leonid Fedun as president and chairman of the board of directors of Spartak Moscow.

On Monday, August 22, Lukoil announced that it had acquired 100% of the club’s shares, as well as the Otkritie Bank Arena stadium. Fedun resigned as president, member and chairman of the board of directors of the Red-Whites in connection with his withdrawal from the club’s shareholders. He will not take part in the management of Spartak.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino He commented on World Cup ticket prices, saying they reflected “absolutely insane” demand for next summer’s tournament:
