I met Leonid Arnoldovich once, he was in Luzhniki in 2003 after an unsuccessful match, then President Chervichenko wanted to replace me, he even called a coach to the VIP stage to see the team, but Fedun told me to support me. He understood that the year was difficult, that the team was poorly equipped. Then I already understood that this person wants to help Spartak, even if at that time he was not yet the full owner of the club.
As for his presidency, it should be noted that a stadium was built under his rule, the Tarasovka base was restored, the academy was put in order and much more. For a long time the club could not build its own stadium and Fedun solved this problem, only for this he entered the history of Spartak. Consequently, Fedun should be thanked for leaving such good infrastructure.
