Former Rubin defender Navas told what he does after retirement

The former defender of Rubin and Rostov, Spaniard Cesar Navas, said that after completing his career, he works in the selection department of the Kazan club, and also received a UEFA PRO coaching license.

Navas played in the Russian Championship from 2009 to 2018. During this time he played 250 matches, scored four goals.

– What new things happened in life after leaving Russia?

— I have opened a new stage in my life, but I am still connected with Rubin. Thanks to the trust of Rustem Saymanov, I have been working in the selection department of the club for the fourth year. I would like to express my gratitude to sports director Oleg Yarovinsky and head coach Leonid Slutsky for the excellent atmosphere in the team and dynamic work. At the same time, I improve my knowledge in the field of economics, investment and business. When I played, there was not enough time for it. My life has changed a lot in recent years, — quotes the words of Navas “Championship”.

– Coaching does not appeal?

– Why? In June, I completed my studies at the center of the Spanish Football Federation and received a UEFA PRO license, which allows me to coach at the highest level. Among my classmates were Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto’o, Alvaro Arbeloa. I have acquired valuable knowledge. We did practice in Spanish clubs.

I would like to become a coach, but someday later. At the moment, I am completely satisfied with my current job. Absolutely happy and satisfied with everything in Rubin. Recently extended the contract with the club for another year. Now all our thoughts are about bringing Kazan back to the Premier League.

Navas is the champion of Russia and the winner of the Russian Cup.

Secrets of the Real Madrid dressing room: Kroos told how he got along with Vinicius

Former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos He talked about his interaction with Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior and other representatives of Brazil within the scope of the “royal club”.

“The Brazilians aroused my sympathy even as a child. While playing for Real Madrid, I developed excellent relationships with Vinicius, Casemiro and Militao.

It is very easy to find a common language with these guys: they know how to enjoy life, and their mentality is significantly different from that of the Germans.

Casemiro and Vinicius and I understood each other perfectly on the field and developed a unique football bond with Vini.

We communicated warmly in daily life. I believe that if there is no contact between players off the field, it is extremely difficult to achieve harmony in the game.

I used Vini’s high-speed bursts effectively and he masterfully directed my passes,” AS Kroos reports.

Let’s remember that Kroos defended the jersey of Real Madrid from 2014 to 2024. During this decade the German midfielder won the Champions League five times.
