Lokomotiv striker Kerk: “At the moment I can’t say that we are ahead of Zenit”

Lokomotiv striker Girano Kerk believes that it will be difficult for the Moscow club to compete with Zenit St. Petersburg in the Russian Championship standings due to an unsuccessful start to the season.
– At the beginning of the season, you said that Lokomotiv was able to get ahead of Zenit and become the champion of Russia. What is the opinion now?
We’ve had a bad start to the season. But we have a great team. We can win matches and still compete with the best. At the moment I can’t say that we are ahead of Zenit, because Loko lost a lot of points. But in this round, finally won. I hope everything will only get better.
