Zhigot reacted to the departure of Fedun from Spartak
Former Spartak defender Samuel Gigot, now playing for Marseille, commented on Leonid Fedun’s decision to step down as president of the Moscow club.
On August 22, Lukoil announced that it had acquired 100% of the club’s shares, as well as the Otkritie Bank Arena stadium. Fedun resigned as president, member and chairman of the board of directors of the Red-Whites in connection with his withdrawal from the club’s shareholders. He will not take part in the management of Spartak.
– I learned about Fedun’s decision, I respect his decision. I just want to thank him for everything he did for Spartak. He always gave his best. I wish him all the best in the future! – quotes Zhigot “Championship”.
After six rounds of the WORLD RPL this season, Spartak is in second place in the standings.
