The head coach of Dynamo Kyiv Mircea Lucescu spoke about the defeat from Benfica (0:3) in the second leg of the playoff round of the Champions League qualification.
On aggregate, the Ukrainian club lost to Lisbon with a score of 0:5.
“We had huge defensive problems. It is unacceptable to make so many mistakes. The team is not yet ready to play at such a high level. We could have conceded six or seven goals altogether. There is a big difference between the teams now,” Lucescu quotes O Jogo.
After relegation from the Champions League, Dynamo will play in the Europa League. The group stage draw will take place on 26 August.
