Semin called Zakharyan the most talented football player in Russia

Dynamo Moscow midfielder Arsen Zakharyan is Russia’s most talented football player, but it’s too early to say how he will play at Chelsea, said Yuri Semin, former head coach of Lokomotiv Moscow.

Earlier, Zakharyan’s agent Pavel Andreev said that the 19-year-old player is close to moving to Chelsea. According to journalist Nicolo Schira, negotiations between the clubs on the transfer have already entered the final stage. Chelsea intend to sign a contract with the Russian until 2028.

Zakharyan has been playing for the main Dynamo team since 2020, in 52 matches he scored 13 goals and made 16 assists. At the end of last season, the midfielder was recognized as the best young player according to the RFU, in 2021 he received the Top Five award for the best young player in the RPL. Zakharyan has four matches for the Russian national team.
