Manchester United climbed into the top 6 of the Premier League with a second victory in a row
Manchester United beat Southampton (1:0) in the away match of the 4th round of the English Premier League.
Erik Ten Hag’s team achieved victory thanks to a single goal from Bruno Fernandes in the 55th minute.
Cristiano Ronaldo started the meeting on the bench and appeared on the field only in the middle of the second half, replacing Jadon Sancho. We also note the debut for Manchester United of the Brazilian Casemiro, who moved from Real Madrid – the midfielder entered the game in the 81st minute.
For Manchester United, this was the second win in the Premier League in a row after two defeats at the start of the championship. With 6 points the team moved up to the 6th position.
