Ukrainian legionnaire of the London Arsenal Oleksandr Zinchenko commented on the start of the football season in his native country.

– I understand that there will not be better conditions, but we need to continue playing, and this is the most important thing for all Ukrainians. If possible, I will watch all the matches.

It’s hard for me to imagine how it will be. At any moment, a siren may sound and players will have to stop playing. But we need to show the whole world that the Ukrainians do not give up, – the Arsenal press service quoted Zinchenko as saying.

The match of the starting round, in which Rukh hosted Metalist on the field in Lviv, was suspended three times due to air raid alerts.
