Midfielder of the Moscow “Spartak” Anton Zinkovsky said that he does not consider frequent meetings with the St. Petersburg “Zenith” on the field to be too much, noting that “it’s always good to play with the strong.”
Previously, the teams met in the match for the Russian Super Cup, where Zenit won a crushing victory (4:0). The clubs still have to play two matches with each other in the RPL, and Spartak also got into the same group with Zenit in the Russian Cup.
