“The result is in favor of CSKA” – Bubnov explained the meaning of a draw in Rostov

Expert Sportbox.ru – about the central match of the 7th round of the WORLD RPL “Rostov” – CSKA (0:0).

The price of a mistake in a match was very high. Both teams are at the top of the standings and could strengthen their positions if they win. Hence such a cautious game. I would not say that Rostov and CSKA played it safe – they just tried their best not to bring a counterattack to their goal.

Both of them tried to act tightly, when the ball was lost, they quickly went on the defensive. Because of this, there were practically no fast attacks in the match. Karpin and Fedotov understood very well before the game: if you give your opponent free space, expect trouble. In the end, in both clubs there are performers who are able to solve the episode due to individual skill.

As a result, the teams spent most of the match in positional attacks, unsuccessfully trying to open each other’s defenses. A few scoring chances still arose, but these were rather exceptions. The rest had to watch a tough fight in the middle of the field. Surprisingly, in this heat, the players looked well prepared functionally and fought to the end.

I think a draw in favor of CSKA. In the last round, Rostov already lost points at home in a match with a direct competitor. It turns out that in the second round you will have to make up for this shortfall on the road, and this is already more difficult. On the other hand, Karpin’s team looks good away: for example, in matches with Dynamo and Lokomotiv, the Rostovites could count on victories.

The RFU sees the benefits of foreign coaches working at clubs

Russian Football Federation (RFU) is interested in making use of the experience of foreign trainers by national specialists. The president told reporters RFU Alexander Diukov.

“If we talk about approaches to the work of coaches, including foreign ones, we see advantages in attracting strong foreign specialists to work in clubs and academies. At the same time, we are interested in having domestic specialists work alongside them, adopt their experience and develop professionally,” Dyukov said.

“If at some point we see that this model does not work, that only foreign coaches work with Russian players, and Russian ones do not, then, of course, we will have to make decisions on regulation,” the boss added. RFU.
