Matias Pogba, brother of French and Turin Juventus footballer Paul Pogba, has responded to allegations of extortion.

Pogba told Italian authorities that while visiting his hometown of Lagny-sur-Marne in France during a March holiday, he was “trapped” by childhood friends and others in hoods with machine guns. They demanded 13 million euros from him and allegedly stole 300 thousand euros from a credit card. Pogba said he was dragged to an apartment where he was accused of not helping friends financially since he became a football star. The latest incidents took place in Turin, where a group of people, allegedly including his brother Matias, intimidated Pogba near the Juventus base.

“Paul, did you really want to shut me up so you could slander me and send me to jail?” I suspected it, now my version of the facts is in place, and unlike you, I have enough evidence of my words and your lies. I’ll tell you again: brother, manipulating people is not good!

It’s not about money: you dragged me into this business, I almost died because of you, you threw me to the bottom and ran away. You want to play innocent, when everything is said, people will see that there is no greater coward, more traitor and more hypocrite on earth than you, – Matias Pogba wrote on Twitter.

Matthias also mentions that Paul used witchcraft to bring damage to the forward of the French national team Kylian Mbappe

The competent authorities of Italy and France were informed about the cases of extortion a month ago. The case is currently under investigation.
