Barcelona footballer Aubameyang was beaten in his house during a robbery – media
Barcelona’s Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been attacked by intruders who broke into his home, according to the Spanish publication El Pais, citing police sources.
The incident occurred on Monday night in the province of Barcelona Castelldefels, where the player lives with his family. According to the source, a group of robbers entered the house through the garden plot. Once inside the building, they began to threaten Aubameyang and his wife with firearms and a tire iron, after which the athlete was beaten.
The robbers took all the jewelry from the safe, and then, according to witnesses, they fled in a white Audi A3 car. The attackers are at large, the investigation continues.
Aubameyang joined Barcelona at the end of January 2022. Since then, the 33-year-old has made 24 appearances and scored 13 goals. Previously, the media reported that the Gabonese could become a football player in London’s Chelsea.
