Napoli are close to signing Ronaldo, but are ready to take the Portuguese on loan – media
Napoli have held talks with Jorge Mendes, the agent for Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the transfer window closing on Thursday, reports Manchester Evening News.
Mendes had previously failed to convince Chelsea, Bayern and Atlético to buy the Portuguese. At the same time, it is assumed that Napoli wants to acquire Ronaldo, but are ready to agree to a loan.
In the 2022/23 season, Ronaldo played four games for Manchester United and was not marked by effective actions.
The main reason for the desire of the 37-year-old Ronaldo to change teams was the failure of Manchester United last season in the Premier League, when the club failed to qualify for the Champions League.
