Spartak lost a player before the match with Zenit for leadership in the RPL
Spartak Moscow midfielder Anton Zinkovsky will miss about 3 weeks due to a shoulder joint ligament injury, the press service of the Red-Whites reports.
Zinkovsky was injured in the away match of the 7th round of the WORLD RPL with Fakel (4: 1), which took place on Saturday. The 26-year-old midfielder came on as a substitute after the break, but left the field in the 67th minute due to a shoulder injury.
This season, Zinkovsky has played eight matches for the Red-Whites and scored one goal.
Spartak will host Zenit in the next round of the RPL on September 4. The St. Petersburg club tops the standings with 17 points, the Muscovites follow with 16 points.
