“I just watch their challenges.” The goalkeeper of Tekstilshchik talks about how he beat off a penalty kick from 2DROTS in the Russian Cup

Tekstilshchik goalkeeper Nikita Yavorsky explained how he managed to save a penalty in a series of post-match 11-meter kicks in the FONBET game of the Russian Cup with 2DROTS.

On Tuesday, the blogging football club 2DROTS lost to the Ivanovo team in the second round match of the Russian Cup Regions. Regular time ended with a score of 1:1, Tekstilshchik won in the penalty shootout – 5:3.

– We were in the same mood as for all other teams, we tuned in very seriously, we knew that there would be a difficult game. And so it happened. It’s good that we won.

— Is the victory of 2DROTS in the first round match against Chertanovo an accident?

– I watched the game, everything was on business. 2DROTS were stronger.

— Do you watch 2DROTS videos?

Yes, sometimes I do.

— Which of the media teams do you root for?

– For no one, but sometimes I can watch some match with the participation of such teams.

— What do you think about the admission of media clubs to the Russian Cup? Some say it’s a shame and disgrace.

“It’s not shame or disgrace. I think why not. You can always try something new, especially in Russian football.

– Remember the repulsed penalty, how did you do it?

– I just watch their challenges, so I beat it off (laughs). Just kidding, we just had a tactic with the goalkeeping coach, and I stuck to it,” Yavorsky said on MATCH PREMIER.

INFANTINO: “If there was no FIFA, there would be no football in 150 countries of the world”

FIFA President Gianni Infantino He commented on World Cup ticket prices, saying they reflected “absolutely insane” demand for next summer’s tournament:

“We have six to seven million tickets and in 15 days we received 150 million ticket requests. So every day we have 10 million requests. This shows how strong the World Cup is.”

FIFA has sold just 44 million tickets in almost 100 years of the World Cup. So we were able to sell tickets for the 300th anniversary of the World Cup in two weeks. Just imagine. “This is absolutely crazy.”

Infantino also noted that funds from ticket sales would be reinvested into world football, but did not specify a specific amount:

“The important thing is that the revenue from this goes back into football around the world. If it weren’t for FIFA, there would be no football in 150 countries of the world. Football exists thanks to the revenues we get from the World Cup, and we reinvest that into football around the world.”

Previously, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called on FIFA to further reduce 2026 World Cup ticket prices.
