Midfielder “Tver” Kamil Zakirov said that he apologized to the referee Vladimir Seldyakov, whom he insulted after the match FONBET Cup of Russia on football with “Amkal”.
The meeting of the second round of the tournament was held on Wednesday at the stadium of the Zorkiy club in Krasnogorsk and ended with the score 1:0 in favor of Amkal. After the game, a video appeared on the Internet in which Zakirov insulted the chief arbiter Vladimir Seldyakov. Zakirov’s behavior will be considered at a meeting of the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (FTC RFU).
– I called the judge just a couple of hours later, I apologized – he accepted them. I want to apologize again – a very ugly act on my part. There are no excuses. It was said with emotion.
As for the submission of this episode to the FTC, then there is no comment. I understand that I did wrong and acted ugly. It was on emotions, as it was a shame to lose. Most likely, it was all from impotence, because we lost. I think that “Amkal” deservedly won, – quotes the words of Zakirov “Championship”.
