That European Football Observatory (CIES) which mainly researches player transfer values ​​and club profiles, has released a report that ranks the top five clubs in Europe’s major leagues according to the transfer fees invested in signing players who are currently in their squad.

In his report, it seems that Paris Saint-Germain is not in the top three, with Manchester City taking first place and investing the unreal amount of 1,064,000,000 euros together with bonuses to create the team’s squad.

In second place is Manchester United, which pays 1,001,000,000 euros for its transfers. The two Manchester teams are the only teams to have invested over a billion euros in their new acquisitions.

Third place is taken by Chelsea with €881 million, dethroning Paris in fourth place with €847 million.

Liverpool (€777m), Real Madrid (€721m), Barcelona (€626m), Arsenal (€534m), Tottenham (€519m) and Atletico Madrid (€502m) complete the list the top 10 teams and leave FC Bayern in 11th place with just 499 million euros, also the first team in the Bundesliga.
