Finally Domenico Tedesco from Leipzig after the four from Shakhtar
Domenico Tedesco has left the Leipzig bench for the premiere of the Champions League groups after Shakhtar’s bitter home defeat.
Leipzig’s tough home defeat by Shakhtar in the Champions League group premiere saw developments at the ‘Bulls’ as Domenico Tedesco is a former member of the team’s technical leadership.
The 36-year-old Italian took over the management of Leipzig in December 2021 and has played a total of 38 games for the GDR selection across all competitions.
Aside from the defeat at Shakhtar, Leipzig also had a poor start to the Bundesliga with five points from five games, with Tedesco paying the price for the poor start to the year.
