Hertha and the footballing world were shocked to learn that Dutch winger Jean-Paul Boethius was diagnosed with a testicular tumor, medical tests revealed on Wednesday (21 September).
Very bad news for the friends of Hertha, but also for the entire football world, was announced on Thursday (September 22nd) when the Jean Paul Boethius diagnosed with a testicular tumor.
“We are full of hope and confidence that Jean-Paul will recover and return to our team as soon as possible. Until his return he will receive all possible support from us. We will be close as a family and wish him well“, i.esaid the club’s sporting director, Freddie Bobitz.
We remind you that last July a similar case shook German – and not only – football after the great Dortmund signing Sebastian Alle was diagnosed with a testicular tumor.
Boethius joined Hertha in August on a free transfer from Mainz, where he had played for the past three years.

Bayern: “The door to the European Super League remains closed, our task is to strengthen the championship”
Bayern insist they have not changed their stance on the European Super League, stressing that it is the duty of clubs to support their domestic leagues.
The European Super League added another big no, this time from German champions Bayern.
Following the decision of the European Court of Justice that the creation of the newly created organization is not illegal, the announcements from the European clubs follow one another.
Bayern CEO Jan Christian Dressen assured that the team would remain true to its original position and emphasized that it was their job to strengthen domestic competitions.

“We have taken the decision of the European Court of Justice into account. However, this does not change the position of Bayern and the ECA that such an event would represent an attack on the national leagues and the structure of European football.
