Dortmund announced the agreement with Zille
Dortmund have announced an agreement with Zille, who will sign with the Westphalians for the next four years after his contract with FC Bayern expires.
A few hours after the agreement, Dortmund made official announcements announcing the agreement with Zille until the summer of 2026. The transfer will be completed at the end of the year when Zille’s contract with FC Bayern expires.
The 26-year-old centre-back turned down the offer for Bayern Munich’s new contract and will continue his career at the Westphalia side, adding himself to the list of players who move from one team to another despite their rivalry.
Zille has been playing for the German champions since 2017 when he was taken over by Hoffenheim for 20 million euros. He has played a total of 159 times in all competitions, scoring six goals.
