Hertha – Leipzig 1: 6: In the end it broke out and stayed in 4th place

As Hertha were left with fewer players, Leipzig erupted, with Christopher Enkunkou scoring twice and leading them to a 6-1 win that put them back up to 4th in the Bundesliga.

Leipzig were overtaken by three teams on Saturday but eventually regained 4th place in the Bundesliga table after the triumph 6-1 on her herta in Berlin for the 23rd game.

Domenico Tentesco’s side were better most of the time but struggled to find the goal. Benjamin Henrikhs put her ahead in the 20th minute but despite the good moments she found herself level on points after Stevan Jovetic’s goal in the 48th minute.

In the 62nd minute, Mark Oliver Kempf made sure that Christopher Enkunko came out in the fourth quarter, he was sent off and the visitors scored with a penalty from the French striker. Three minutes later the same player made it 3-1 and in the last quarter Danny Olmo, Amandou Haidara and Youssef Poulsen made the difference.
