Lewandowski “empty” Bayern: “Hearing about renewal for the first time”
Robert Lewandowski has sacked Bayern’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, who has said in a statement he intends to renew with the Polish star.
Everything showed that the negotiations between FC Bayern and Robert Lewandowski to expand the cooperation were on the right track. However, a statement from the Polish star shook the waters and cast doubt on a possible extension.
The 33-year-old striker, who has won everything with Bayern collectively, expires in June 2023 and the German club were reportedly looking to consider a sale next summer.
However, Bayern’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has made it clear that the club is determined to keep Lewandowski.
However, when asked about this position, the Polish star expressed ignorance and emphasized that he had not known that Bayern Munich wanted to extend his contract: “It’s the first time I hear it”he characteristically commented on his statements Salihamidzic.
