Manchester City ‘scarf’, Holland told to increase bid

Manchester City have reportedly contacted those close to Erling Halland and made it clear they are willing to up their offer to take him on, according to SPORT.

Manchester City are ready to put their hand deep in their pockets to make Erling Halland their own, as reported by Catalan SPORT.

There are many scenarios for the Norwegian star’s future. However, as everything shows so far, one thing is certain: Holland have decided to leave their newly promoted club Dortmund next summer.

Furthermore, there are three contenders who can share chances as Real, Barcelona and Manchester City have him in their ‘frame’. Spanish teams may be a more likely target for the 21-year-old but, according to the Catalan newspaper, the Citizens are not going to lay down their arms.

The report says the Manchester club have contacted Halland to say they are willing to improve the offer and clarify the financial part will not be a “problem”.
