David Alaba spoke about his decision to leave Bayern and join Real, claiming it wasn’t easy as Bayern are his second home after 13 years in Munich.

The 29-year-old center-back, Carlo Ancelotti’s pillar at the Spanish club’s defense center, spoke to Austrian newspaper Kurier about his decision to leave Bayern and Munich after 13 years and how easy it was for him to adapt to Madrid. .
Specifically, Alaba emphasized in order to give up the “meringues” its convenience: “Many in Real’s locker rooms don’t speak English, which forces me to speak Spanish. It was an exciting year this year, very emotional and beautiful. I knew that the expectations at Real would be even higher.
FC Bayern was his second home there after 13 years. I played an important role in the club and in the team. I got to know the club and the city from top to bottom and made a lot of friends in Munich. “I had to give up a lot of my comfort when I left.”
