Bavaria: There are many coronavirus cases on the way back to training

The Bavarians are preparing for the start of the second round with obstacles, as the problems caused by the corona virus are increasing daily.

Bayern have announced two new coronavirus cases and three cases of players without a definitive diagnosis, so the number of players who are not available to Julian Nagelsman is steadily increasing.

On New Year’s Eve it became known that Manuel Neuer, Kingsle Koman, Corenden Tolisso and Omar Richards, together with assistant coach Dino Topmeler, had submitted positive samples. Preparations for the second half of the season should start on Sunday, but have been postponed by one day due to developments.

The results of the remaining tests were announced Monday, with Lika Hernandez and Tangi Nian added to the cases and left at home in isolation. At the same time Leroy Sane, Dayot Upamekano, Josip Stanisic were absent after training “The diagnosis has not yet been completed”as announced by the association. The latter was also ill in November.

The positive news includes Joshua Kimich’s return to training after 47 days. The international German fell ill with Covid-19, which caused him a lung problem and he was unable to exercise for a while.
