Leverkusen have announced the signing of Grimaldo from Benfica. The 27-year-old Spain international has signed a contract until 2027.
Bayern Leverkusen have acquired 27-year-old Spain international Alessandro Grimaldo, who was part of Benfica Lisbon and whose contract with the Portuguese club expired next summer, in a key transfer.
The 28-year-old, who can cover both left-back and midfield, has signed a contract until 2027 and was announced by the German club.
Grimaldo started his career in Valencia’s academies, then moved to those of Barcelona and from there joined Benfica in the summer of 2016, where he has been for seven years.
