Stuttgart clinched a magnificent win against the home team in Mainz and catapulted them 4-1 out of the Bundesliga relegation zone.

THE Stuttgart breathed deeply in the fight to remain in the Bundesliga after being eliminated with the double 4-1 out of Mainz for the 33rd matchday and now has his fate in his own hands in the home game on the last matchday against the weakening Hoffenheim.

The Swabians acted with Dino Mavropanos on the bench and the injured Thomas Castanara out of action. They fell behind to a goal by Marcus Ingvartsen but then made an impressive comeback.

Wataru Edo equalized before the end of the first half and in the second half the visitors were very effective with few good moments. Serou Girassi converted in the 64th minute and Sebastian Hennes threw Mavropanos into play and kept the lead.
