Tuchel: “Instead of celebrating, we have another political issue”
In his statements to Sky Sport, Thomas Tuchel referred to the discussion about the dismissals of Kahn and Salihamidzic despite Bayern’s conquest of the championship.
Bayern beat Cologne 2-1 and, together with Dortmund’s draw, celebrated their eleventh championship title in a row.
Immediately after the award, however, Bayern announced the removal of Salihamidzic and Kahn for Bayern’s overall picture that year. In his statements to Sky Sport, Tuchel emphasized that instead of celebrating, Bayern are dealing with other topics again.
“Hasan and Oliver called me eight weeks ago, they convinced me that we can do it together. For my part, I convinced my partners. I’ll have to process it first. I have known about the decision since yesterday. Instead of celebrating, we “have another political problem” expressly stated.
