Miller denied a Saudi attack
The Saudis tried to lure Thomas Miller, but he knew from the start that moving to the Middle Eastern country was not an option for him.
The Saudi Arabian league is on the hunt for further promotion, with the signing of Karim Benzema from Al Ittihad being the latest big move, while N’Golo Kante is also expected to join the same club.
The Saudis also turned to Thomas Miller. According to Bayern reporter Christian Falk, the 33-year-old said “no”. In fact, he made it clear that Saudi Arabia was not an option for him, especially given the three-year offer they made him.
Müller’s contract with FC Bayern expires in the summer of 2024. Last season he played 40 games in all competitions, scoring eight goals and twelve assists.

Bayern: “The door to the European Super League remains closed, our task is to strengthen the championship”
Bayern insist they have not changed their stance on the European Super League, stressing that it is the duty of clubs to support their domestic leagues.
The European Super League added another big no, this time from German champions Bayern.
Following the decision of the European Court of Justice that the creation of the newly created organization is not illegal, the announcements from the European clubs follow one another.
Bayern CEO Jan Christian Dressen assured that the team would remain true to its original position and emphasized that it was their job to strengthen domestic competitions.

“We have taken the decision of the European Court of Justice into account. However, this does not change the position of Bayern and the ECA that such an event would represent an attack on the national leagues and the structure of European football.
