Stuttgart strong for Pavlidis – How much will the Germans give to get him from Alkmaar?

The AZ from Stuttgart has received two consecutive offers for Vangelis Pavlidis, according to information from Sportish, the Greek national striker is at stake for almost 13 million euros, but the claims of the Dutch club have not yet been fulfilled.

Stuttgart has been a Greek area of interest for several years. The reasons and motivations are different, the last being the presence of Constantinos Mavropanos in the Swedes’ potential and the undiminished scenario regarding the future of the international centre-back and a – most likely – transfer of him.

He’s not the only one anymore as Stuttgart this summer have their sights set on another lucrative Greece international in Vangelis Pavlidis, who is also in transfer status.

Stuttgart, who secured their place in the Bundesliga via the play-offs, exercised the takeover of last season’s top scorer Serju Giarci by paying Rennes €9m. However, this move was made with the goal of a more profitable outright sale of the African striker.

The 27-year-old Girassi’s main interest is Ajax, with Stuttgart focusing on Pavlidis in their attacking line the next day. According to information from Sportish, the German club has submitted two proposals to AZ, the last of which amounts to 13 million euros (which part of this is fixed and which part is in bonuses is not clear).

An offer still far from the Dutch club’s requirements (he has already completed the sale of Raiders to Milan and Kerkez to Bournemouth, raising more than €40m in total), but Stuttgart are showing a willingness to further increase their offer, but especially quickly, knowing the competition there is for Pavlidis, on whose positive attitude they are counting anyway.

It remains to be seen whether these will be enough to overcome the resistance (and increased demands) from AZ. What is certain is that Stuttgart want Pavlidis, they are showing it and are in a hurry to decide whether they can sign him or move on to one of the next options on their relevant list.

The Bayern players dropped the ball and sang the song to wish us a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

In Germany, the campaign traditionally ends on the Christmas holidays. This gave the Bayern players the opportunity to escape from their everyday competitive routine. They wore colorful blouses to match the season and wished us a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The German champion’s video featured Thomas Miller, Manuel Neuer, Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala, Tsuppo-Moting, Tell and Sven Urlaich. Everyone happily sang birthday songs and shared best wishes.

Of course, as always, Thomas Miller felt most comfortable in front of the camera, and the video below is an irrefutable witness.

Bayern: “The door to the European Super League remains closed, our task is to strengthen the championship”

Bayern insist they have not changed their stance on the European Super League, stressing that it is the duty of clubs to support their domestic leagues.

The European Super League added another big no, this time from German champions Bayern.

Following the decision of the European Court of Justice that the creation of the newly created organization is not illegal, the announcements from the European clubs follow one another.

Bayern CEO Jan Christian Dressen assured that the team would remain true to its original position and emphasized that it was their job to strengthen domestic competitions.

Analytically:

We have taken the decision of the European Court of Justice into account. However, this does not change the position of Bayern and the ECA that such an event would represent an attack on the national leagues and the structure of European football.

The Bundesliga is the basis of Bayern, as all national leagues are the basis for other European football clubs.

It is therefore our duty and our deep conviction to strengthen them and not to weaken them. We are also involved in European competitions under the auspices of UEFA.

That’s why I would like to make it clear once again that the door to the European Super League remains closed to Bayern.”
