Bayern: Tuchel apologizes to Kane for team image
Bayern were crushed by Leipzig on Harry Kane’s debut and Thomas Tuchel apologized for his side’s image.
The German Super Cup put him in the spotlight as Bayern welcomed Leipzig to the Allianz Arena and Harry Kane made his debut.
The Bulls turned the game into their own party, winning 3-0 and celebrating the first domestic trophy of the season.
The image Bayern gave worried their friends and Thomas Tuchel, who apologized to Harry Kane after the game ended.
In his statement, he stressed that he regretted that the England striker’s debut was associated with such an image of his team.
“I’m sorry Kane, he’ll probably think we haven’t practiced for the last four weeks. Our performance has nothing to do with it. It’s a bitter night, I apologize.” he said characteristically.
