Dortmund is making a rare step in planning its home game for the 2023/24 season. The Westphalia announced that the jersey from this period will be designed together with their friends in a special process that they explain on the team’s official website.
Friends of the team can design the new jersey online until February 2, 2022 and send it to the team. The jerseys can be designed as a painting or in 3D or even crocheted yourself.
A nine-person jury, consisting of team leader Marco Royce and board members, then selects nine of the best appearances, which are then put to public voting, with the winning jersey being the one chosen and worn by the footballers of their favorite team.
