Hennes revealed the exact amount Bayern paid for Kane
Uli Hennessy revealed in an interview the exact amount Bayern donated for Harry Kane last summer, while also referencing Bayern’s decision to remove Julian Nagelsmann.
Harry Kane took the big step of his career last summer by leaving the Premier League and Tottenham Hotspur to take on the challenge of Bayern Munich. The English captain has already scored nine goals in ten games for Bayern.
These numbers justify the German champions’ decision to invest in him to strengthen Bayern’s offensive line. Uli Hennes gave an interview to the German media company “BR24” and revealed the amount that was paid for the takeover.
“We only paid 95 million euros to sign Kane”emphasized the Bayern Vice President and said about the replacement of Nagelsmann by Tuchel shortly before the final of last season:
“It wasn’t me replacing the manager, it was the club replacing the manager, which wasn’t necessarily a smart move.”
Hiring Oliver Kahn as CEO of the club was also a big mistake. When it became clear to me that he could not fulfill this role, I replaced him with Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
