Unstoppable leader Leverkusen, Dortmund overtakes Leipzig
Leverkusen dismantled Werder Bremen to stay at the top of the Bundesliga. Dortmund beat Gladbach and overtook Leipzig, who lost in Wolfsburg.
THE Leverkusen is almost unrivaled in this year’s Bundesliga after he broke me 3-0 and that Werder on matchday 12 in Bremen and regained the top spot from Bayern.
Olivier Deman’s own goal gave the visitors the lead, who had the ball at their feet the entire time and were the only team on the pitch with a tendency to create and threaten. The home team stoically awaited their fate and Jeremy Fribong’s goal in the 42nd minute sealed victory. Werder’s reaction in the second half was non-existent and Xabi Alonso’s men continued to do what they wanted on the pitch, scoring their third goal through the elusive Alex Grimaldo.
Dortmund needed it against Gladbach in the Borussia derby, but took the win 4-2 with a twist. Rocco Raitts and Manu Kone gave the Colts the lead in the first half hour of the game, but before half-time the home team managed to get things up and down. Marcel Zabitcher and Niklas Filkrug equalized within two minutes and in the 45th minute Jamie Bynow Gittens completed the turnaround.
The momentum was on Edin Terzic’s players, who continued to hunt for goals in the second half, but the miss and Moric Nikolas kept the tension in the red until the last moment. In the final phase of the game and while the Gladbach keeper was in the opponent’s penalty area for a corner, Doniel Mullen stole and reached the empty goal to make the final score 4-2.
Leipzig was looking for revenge Wolfsburg However, after she was disqualified from the cup a month earlier, the “Wolves” devoured her again, this time with them 2-1. The usual suspect Jonas Widt scored the first goal for the home team in the 9th minute and despite the visitors having possession of the ball, chances remained few and far between. In one of them, Yussuf Poulsen equalized in the 52nd minute to make it 1-1, but Rogerio made it happen in the 66th minute, giving Wolfsburg their first win after four defeats in the league.

Musiala, Miller, Urlich and Neuer sang Christmas carols
The Bayern players dropped the ball and sang the song to wish us a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
In Germany, the campaign traditionally ends on the Christmas holidays. This gave the Bayern players the opportunity to escape from their everyday competitive routine. They wore colorful blouses to match the season and wished us a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The German champion’s video featured Thomas Miller, Manuel Neuer, Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala, Tsuppo-Moting, Tell and Sven Urlaich. Everyone happily sang birthday songs and shared best wishes.
Of course, as always, Thomas Miller felt most comfortable in front of the camera, and the video below is an irrefutable witness.

Bayern: “The door to the European Super League remains closed, our task is to strengthen the championship”
Bayern insist they have not changed their stance on the European Super League, stressing that it is the duty of clubs to support their domestic leagues.
The European Super League added another big no, this time from German champions Bayern.
Following the decision of the European Court of Justice that the creation of the newly created organization is not illegal, the announcements from the European clubs follow one another.
Bayern CEO Jan Christian Dressen assured that the team would remain true to its original position and emphasized that it was their job to strengthen domestic competitions.
Analytically:
“We have taken the decision of the European Court of Justice into account. However, this does not change the position of Bayern and the ECA that such an event would represent an attack on the national leagues and the structure of European football.
The Bundesliga is the basis of Bayern, as all national leagues are the basis for other European football clubs.
It is therefore our duty and our deep conviction to strengthen them and not to weaken them. We are also involved in European competitions under the auspices of UEFA.
That’s why I would like to make it clear once again that the door to the European Super League remains closed to Bayern.”
