Dortmund – Freiburg 5: 1: Five-star BVB, close to shooting Bayern
Dortmund swept against Freiburg and with their magnificent protagonists Meniere, Halland (of two goals each) triumphed 5-1 to narrow the gap to champions Bayern to three points.
Dortmund capitalized on the impressive upset they produced in the Bundesliga second round premiere in Frankfurt (they beat Eintracht 3-2 with three goals in the last 20 minutes, while losing 2-0) and drew the unlucky Freiburg. with his team Marco Rose with the deafening 5:1 on Friday evening for the 19th game and to reduce the gap to champions Bayern (with fewer games Bayern) by three points.
It was BVB’s ninth win in 10 home league games this year and 13th overall, with the yellow-blacks going 14 straight league games at Signal Induna Park, scoring 2+ goals.
Essentially, the hosts showed their (wild) mood from the first half hour, where they led 2-0 from two set phases that had the same protagonists! In the 14th minute, Brad pulled out a corner from the left and Menier’s head hit the first post to make it 1-0, while in the 29th minute Brad found a corner from the right and the Belgian headed in again to be the top scorer !
The first part even ended dreamily for Dortmund, who were dominant throughout, as their players stole the ball inside and Bellingham served Halland, who made it 3-0 with a nice pitch in the first minute of delay.
The visitors, fourth in the table after 18 games, didn’t have much to lose with three goals behind them and reduced the lead to 3-1 with Demirovic in 61′, but all adulterous thoughts about something positive in this game disappeared over time dt.
Erling Halland prevailed with goalkeeper Uphof in the 75th minute after a nice vertical shot by Dahud and didn’t miss the opportunity to make it 4-1 with his 15th goal in this year’s Bundesliga, while Dahud scored 5-1 in 86′ The finale was a wonderful miss that sealed Dortmund’s 18th home win in 22 games against Freiburg.

Musiala, Miller, Urlich and Neuer sang Christmas carols
The Bayern players dropped the ball and sang the song to wish us a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
In Germany, the campaign traditionally ends on the Christmas holidays. This gave the Bayern players the opportunity to escape from their everyday competitive routine. They wore colorful blouses to match the season and wished us a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The German champion’s video featured Thomas Miller, Manuel Neuer, Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala, Tsuppo-Moting, Tell and Sven Urlaich. Everyone happily sang birthday songs and shared best wishes.
Of course, as always, Thomas Miller felt most comfortable in front of the camera, and the video below is an irrefutable witness.

Bayern: “The door to the European Super League remains closed, our task is to strengthen the championship”
Bayern insist they have not changed their stance on the European Super League, stressing that it is the duty of clubs to support their domestic leagues.
The European Super League added another big no, this time from German champions Bayern.
Following the decision of the European Court of Justice that the creation of the newly created organization is not illegal, the announcements from the European clubs follow one another.
Bayern CEO Jan Christian Dressen assured that the team would remain true to its original position and emphasized that it was their job to strengthen domestic competitions.
Analytically:
“We have taken the decision of the European Court of Justice into account. However, this does not change the position of Bayern and the ECA that such an event would represent an attack on the national leagues and the structure of European football.
The Bundesliga is the basis of Bayern, as all national leagues are the basis for other European football clubs.
It is therefore our duty and our deep conviction to strengthen them and not to weaken them. We are also involved in European competitions under the auspices of UEFA.
That’s why I would like to make it clear once again that the door to the European Super League remains closed to Bayern.”
