Champions League
Glasgow Rangers – Napoli postponed
UEFA press service reported that the European Championship group stage match between Glasgow Rangers and Napoli will take place on 14 September, not 13 September. The reason for the postponement of the game is Queen II. Police reported limited resources regarding Elizabeth’s funeral.
It was also reported that Neapolitan fans will not be allowed to enter the Ibrox stadium in Glasgow (Scotland). To ensure sporting fairness, Rangers fans will also not be able to attend the team meeting in Naples. UEFA urged team supporters to approach this situation with respect and understanding.
The match between Rangers and Napoli in the UEFA Youth League was also postponed from 13 September to 14 September.
Recall that in Round 1 of the Champions League, Napoli defeated Liverpool 4:1 at home and 0:4 at Glasgow Rangers to Ajax.
