Joey Burton’s obscene gesture to Tottenham fans
Bristol Rovers manager and veteran Marseille player Joey Burton watched the game against Tottenham with the Marseille team and the TV camera caught him making an obscene gesture to Spurs fans.
England veteran Joey Burton played in Marseille on loan from Queens Park Rangers in the 2012/13 season and made 33 appearances in all competitions.
The current Bristol Rovers manager traveled to London to watch Marseille’s opening game against Tottenham (2-0) for the Champions League groups.
The 40-year-old chose to sit next to his son, along with the Massala organizers, who praised and applauded him.
However, the TV camera caught Barton making an obscene gesture towards the Londoners’ fans.
