Juventus got off to the worst start in their history in the Champions League
Juventus have failed to take a point in their first two Champions League games and made their worst start ever in Europe’s top club competition.
Juventus lost 2-1 at home to Benfica and remained without a point in the Champions League groups.
It’s the Bianconeri’s worst start in their history, as they go without a point for the first time in their first two group games in top club competition and qualify for the last 16 with their backs to the wall after giving Paris Saint a strong lead – Germain and Benfica.
The same situation prevails in Italy, where Juventus are in eighth place with ten points after completing the first six games of the Italian league. Allegri is in a difficult position, but he himself seems optimistic about his task so far.
