Akhmetov will not sell Mudrik for less than 50m euros if Shakhtar enters 1/8 Champions League
A number of European clubs in serious caliber follow the transfer status of 21-year-old Shakhtar winger Mykhailo Mudryk, who scored twice in two matches in the Champions League group stage.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, in the summer, Shakhtar actually turned down a €30m offer from Everton for Mudrik. Arsenal, who also showed interest in the winger, did not apply to Pitmen with transfer requests.
Many top clubs in Europe are frankly unhappy with the fact that Shakhtar values Mudrik so much – 50m euros.
In addition, the journalist reports that Rinat Akhmetov, head of the Pitmen, does not intend to withdraw in January and lower Mudrik’s demand position if the team reaches the 1/8 finals of the Champions League.
Mudrik himself allegedly believed that January would be a good time to switch teams and be ready to move on to one of the best European championships.
As a reminder, Mudrik’s contract with Shakhtar expires on December 31, 2026.
